Bansal Group is owning more than 400 acres of salt producing land at Dahej Port in Bharuch District. They have the finest salt producing land that produces more than 20,000 M.T. of Industrial and Edible salt per year. They own the latest machines and equipments to process the salt. Their Iodine processing plant is very sophisticated that it ensures the perfect ratio of Iodine to be added. The Iodine mixing process is very critical in a salt Industry.

Gujarat is the only state in India that produces 75% of the total salt produced in India. Salt is produced by the saline water which is either pumped from the bores or sea water from high tides. This saline water is evaporated thus leaving behind white crystals in the pan. This raw salt is then powdered by the mills. Then iodine is mixed into this powdered salt to make it fit for edible use. Bansal group has the ability and resources to handle the whole salt production from stage1 to end.
